Ahh, 9 moths old. That first birthday is creeping nearer! There have been many firsts in the past few weeks as you will soon read about.

Camden William is one mobile baby! He is crawling EVERYWHERE now, and quickly I might add. He is so excited to explore and discover things on his own now. He can go from his belly to sitting up and is able to pull up onto his knees and is becoming brave enough to pull all the way up to his feet sometimes. Cam is also starting to wave to say hi- his favorite is to wave to the fish! Camden had his 9 month check up today and he was 17lbs 8 oz- EXACTLY 12 lbs more than his birth weight! He was 28 1/4 inches long. Cam took his 9 month shot like a trooper, although he gave the nurse his big pouty lip after.

Donovan Kyle has the first tooth for the boys! It popped through this past week without any warning. He really wasn't showing any discomfort or other signs other than the perpetual drool that the boys are always sporting. It must feel so interesting as he is constantly running his little tongue over the little sprout of a tooth. He also had discovered how to click his tongue! We are certain crawling is not too far off for Donovan. He is very jealous that his brother can get all over the room. He spends far less time sitting up, and more time on his belly wiggling all over. He can "move" while scooting on his bottom or rolling from side to side. At his 9 month check up today he was 17lbs 9oz- also EXACTLY 12lbs more than his birth weight. He was 27 inches long.
Donovan 1st tooth! (a little hard to see, but it's on the lower left side of his mouth in the pic)

Both boys continue to enjoy trying new foods. The past few weeks they've had yogurt, noodles, bite sized pieces of chicken and turkey, cooked carrots, and pear and peach chunks. We are trying to encourage them to drink from a sippy cup but they still would prefer to just chew on the spout. They are napping well- about an hour and a half in the morning and again in the afternoon. They started swim class this past week. Camden loves to splash Mommy and Daddy, Donovan about leaps out of our arms to get into the pool! I'm glad they are enjoying the water.
