Sunday morning after breakfast we took the boys to the neighborhood park. Since Daddy was there to help, the boys got to play on the toddler equipment instead of just swinging- Mommy's not ready to tackle that alone!

More Outside Fun
The boys had fun with their push toys outside yesterday. They did a pretty good job, till Camden fell in the hole!

Splash Pad Fun
It was so beautiful out today we just had to take advantage of the weather! After lunch we loaded up in the van and headed across town to a neighborhood park. Our luck- the splash pad was running! Camden and Donovan had such a blast in the cool water sprays!
Camden watched the bigger kids carefully...
then he decided to venture a little closer to the water sprays.
He made friends with a nice older boy who shared his ball with him. Camden had so much fun picking up the ball, standing up, walking around and throwing the ball just like his big "buddy".
Donovan would shriek with joy every time the spray would kick up- waving his arms around and crawling in circles.
He would find all the puddles and splash away letting the spray hit his chubby little cheeks.
After splashing the boys enjoyed a quick swing to dry off then it was back into the van and home for a LONG afternoon nap.
(of course you can't ever get them both looking!)

Donovan has learned to "pedal" with his feet- he cruises all over the house!

August Fun
Fun in the Sun! The boys love splashing around in their new pool. Camden puts his face under water and blows bubbles, Donovan "swims" laps across the pool. Both boys love that they can get in and out all by themselves (with Mom or Dad right there to catch them if need be!)

The fire department brought a fire truck and ambulance to our Twins Club picnic a few weeks ago for the kids to explore. C&D loved the big wheels on the trucks
They also got to try out a bounce house for the first time. A little weird for them but they got the hang of it.
See Cam, it's just like jumping in your crib!
Mail Day! Look what great helpers I have! Camden even picked up every piece of mail and put it in a grocery sac for me.

1 year photo shoot
This weekend we had 1 year pictures taken of the boys. We met the photographer at Pilcher Park and really lucked out with some fabulous weather. She has a few pictures posted on her blog, the rest will come in a few weeks. Enjoy!

Happy Birthday Camden and Donovan
July 31st we gathered with family and friends to celebrate Camden and Donovan's 1st birthday. It's amazing how fast the first year has gone and how much our little guys have grown. From the 5 1/2 pound tiny babies we welcomed 1 year ago, are now over 20 pound little toddlers. We feel so blessed to have had such special little boys who bring joy to our lives every day.
