August Fun

Fun in the Sun! The boys love splashing around in their new pool. Camden puts his face under water and blows bubbles, Donovan "swims" laps across the pool. Both boys love that they can get in and out all by themselves (with Mom or Dad right there to catch them if need be!)

The fire department brought a fire truck and ambulance to our Twins Club picnic a few weeks ago for the kids to explore. C&D loved the big wheels on the trucks

They also got to try out a bounce house for the first time. A little weird for them but they got the hang of it.

See Cam, it's just like jumping in your crib!


Mail Day! Look what great helpers I have! Camden even picked up every piece of mail and put it in a grocery sac for me.

This weekend we had 1 year pictures taken of the boys. We met the photographer at Pilcher Park and really lucked out with some fabulous weather. She has a few pictures posted on her blog, the rest will come in a few weeks. Enjoy!

Happy Birthday Camden and Donovan

July 31st we gathered with family and friends to celebrate Camden and Donovan's 1st birthday. It's amazing how fast the first year has gone and how much our little guys have grown. From the 5 1/2 pound tiny babies we welcomed 1 year ago, are now over 20 pound little toddlers. We feel so blessed to have had such special little boys who bring joy to our lives every day.

We lucked out with a perfect party day- it was overcast but no rain and no heat/humidity

Big Boy Carseats!

It was time to retire the infant carriers... such a sad day for Mommy! The boys are loving their new big boy seats though. They are officially extended rear facing and will be for a LONG time.
