Some of my favorite pics

Just a few of my faves from this month

Pictures we used in their Mother's Day Cards for the Grandma's

Scoping out the helicopter at the hospital when we visited Great-Grandpa Grimm

Mmm... jello!

Water Day

We had a blast of warm weather last week so it was the perfect opportunity to break out the water table and splash pad. The boys had such a great time!

Camden with his new ear plugs- he did a great job keeping them in while he played

Nothing better than a happy toddler!

Donovan is rarely without his cars

This is why we need the ear plugs! Camden loves to blow bubbles in the water and dunk his hair.

Like the droopy drawers on Cam?

Camden's a Brave Boy

May 10th Camden had surgery to place tubes in his ears- he's been struck with so many ear infections over the last 9 months we decided that tubes were the way to go. We had to get up so early to be at the surgery center by 6:30am (was about 45 min away). Cam couldn't eat/drink before so the poor little guy was so hungry.

We had to wait about an hour in pre-op before his surgery. Even though we brought a few toys/books, it wasn't enough to occupy this active toddler. The (new, clean!) puke bowls became a fun new toy.

When it was time for surgery a nice nurse came and took Camden back to the OR. He eagerly went to her... until he discovered that she was taking him away from us. We waited maybe 10 min and then the dr was already out to talk to us. Said everything went great. We had to wait about 10 more min until they woke him up before we could see him. He was not a happy camper to wake up feeling so funny and not have his Mommy and Daddy there. He clung to me for the half hour we waited in recovery. Every time a nurse came near he freaked out. He juggled his teddy, sippy cup, Popsicle, and his paci while crying the whole time.

The tears didn't stop till we got to the car and he was sure we were right there with him. He was out like a light for the 45 min drive home. After returning home he had some breakfast and was off to play with his brother in no time!

spring plantin'

Camden and Donovan got watering cans in their Easter basket and the weather FINALLY is allowing them to play with them. Grandma planted a few things in our flower beds and had a great time showing the boys how to water the new sprouts.

Donovan returned to the hose over and over to refill his watering can. He would have watered the plants all day if we let him!

Giggle Monsters!

Pens Are Fun!

Camden and Donovan's new "art" obsession is drawing with pens! They love to pretend to make stars and circles. They also like to have us help them write their name.

Playdate at Grandma's

During Grandma Reyelts' spring break we went over to her house for a playdate with Cousin Matthew. The boys had a great time- spending most of their morning at the little table and chairs Grandma pulled out for them. Of course Camden and Donovan couldn't go more than 5 min without a matchbox car in their hand!

Lunch time for the 3 musketeers!

Such a cutie!
