As Camden and Donovan spend these many rainy days walking around with their shoes in hand saying "ou-side, ou-side", I try to find indoor-ways to fill the spaces between breakfast and lunch.
They like to watch the birds at the feeder that's out the patio window. This particular morning they spent 10 min watch a bunny hopping around munching on grass
We have picnics both for our stuffed animals...
And for us!
Camden and Donovan spend a lot of time reading- on the couch, on the floor, on their couch, in basement...
They even help with household chores like "folding" laundry and picking up their toys (which they really do! Everything has a place and everything in it's place!)
Sometimes laundry time turns into a game of laundry basket fun.
Oh, and you can't forget the singing! Camden's favorite is "If You're Happy and You Know It"- here he is making "your face will surely show it"
The swings are a favorite spot in the basement. They would swing all morning if you let them!
The block table is another popular place!
And, the morning usually rounds out with a cartoon or two while Mommy makes lunch. Camden will stand in one spot for the whole show- engrossed in the story.
After that it's off to nap- nothing better on a rainy spring day!
