Today we went to the Phillips Park Zoo in Aurora with a few of our twin friends. It started out cool but the sun warmed things up and we had a wonderful day.
First we checked out the outdoor animals- river otters, an eagle, a lion, some wolves, a turkey and a pair of swans.

Then we went in the reptile house where the boys saw many different snakes, turtles, and 2 large alligators.

Donovan kept creeping along the ground like the alligators!

After visiting the little zoo, we let the kids "free" in the sunken garden to burn off some energy.

Yes, those would be my boys already being chased by a girl!

These stairs provided lots of entertainment for the kids- up and down, up and down

Camden walked up the entire set of stairs without using his hands once! What coordination and balance that kid has.

Camden "reading" his letters- M, P, Ssss

After a busy morning we spread out our picnic blanket and enjoyed sandwiches and fresh fruit for lunch. Then it was home for some good naps!
