Fun with My Brother
Camden and Donovan are just having so much fun together now. They played in their playroom together for nearly 2 hours this afternoon! What big boys!
10-22 Brookfield Zoo
It's a Friday so Grandpa was able to join us on a trip to the zoo.
It was a chilly start to the morning so the boys were bundled up in their stroller.

We spent most of our visit in the Hamill Family Play Zoo where the boys were free to roam without being strapped into their stroller. They enjoyed the "house" where they saw lots of little animals.
Camden checking out some guinea pigs (which he snorted at- 'cause they're "pigs"!)

Scoping out the snake

Camden and Grandpa petting the guinea pig

Donovan peeking at the cats

They enjoyed a bit of playtime in this area- stocked with some toys and great climbing stumps

The boys favorite had to be the play vet's office. Camden and Donovan spent the longest time putting their pets in and out of the little carriers.

Camden makes a pretty cute vet doesn't he!

Donovan getting up close to a lemur

Then it was time for a picnic lunch- jelly sandwiches, string cheese, and goldfish crackers.

After lunch we headed to the Petting Zoo
Donovan and Grandpa checking out the ducks and geese.

Camden watching the ducks- Every pen we went up to he squatted down like this to get a better view. It was so cute!

The picnic area where we ate lunch had lots of leaves for the boys to play in. Couldn't resist the photo op!

The lighting is terrible but I still think it's a great picture of Donovan

Twins Club Halloween Party
Today we joined our other twin families for a Halloween Party. Camden and Donovan had such a BLAST! They ran around the room the entire time- could care less where Mom and Dad were. Of course they were the cutest little monkey and dinosaur around!
Ring Family

There was a shortage of chairs so Camden and Donovan enjoyed their pizza dinner on the floor in their highchairs. Of course they could care less- as long as the food kept coming!

After dinner it was time to put on their costumes.
Dinosaur Donovan off and running

Silly Monkey Camden loved this little tiger and dinosaur. He kept giving them hugs and pointing to their animal ears.

I took Donovan with me to check out the goodie table. I picked up a chocolate chip cookie and before I knew it, Donovan had grabbed that big cookie and started stuffing it in his mouth!

The busy party room

Camden and Donovan playing with the art supplies on the floor.

When the party was done it was time to change out of their costumes so they could ride safely in their car seats. Donovan took the opportunity to grab someone's trick or treat pail and take off!

School Day
Camden and Donovan had their first day of "school" on Wednesday. They are going to a tot class at the children's museum in Frankfort the next 4 Wednesdays.
We started with a healthy oatmeal breakfast. The boys did well with their spoons for a few scoops, then they decided their hands were much more efficient!

Then it was time for a good face washing!

All dressed in their school clothes, new shoes, and ready to go. I was pretty happy to get both boys sitting and looking at the camera!

They had a great time at their first class. They were more interested in banging the cabinets in the room (which had no locks on them!) but we learned 2 new signs- Mommy and Daddy. We also sang several songs- a few favorites and a few new ones. Looking forward to next week! I think after class we will play in the museum too.

This weekend we traveled to North Manchester Indiana for our sister in law Allison's baby shower. Camden and Donovan weathered the long car ride pretty well and were anxious to play with Grandma and Grandpa's toys. It got a bit overwhelming for Donovan with lots of people in and out but overall they were good little boys. We are so excited for the next time we see Uncle Brandon and Aunt Alli because our new niece or nephew will be here!
The boys had fun out in back of Grandma and Grandpa's house. They thought the crunching leaves were very interesting. Camden enjoyed playing ball with Daddy while Donovan examined the leaves with Mommy.

These are a few of my favorite pictures. I am anxious to try out some of the settings on my new camera, but even in auto mode we got some great shots.

After a busy weekend it's into the tub for two cranky boys! Nothing like warm water and tub toys to make even the grouchiest boys happy.

Donovan with his first goose egg- his left eye is all purple and swollen. Poor kid!

A little jumping on Mom and Dad's bed before bedtime

Donovan and Camden got their teeth brushed for the first time with their own real tooth brushes. They cooperated nicely and even "brushed" a little on their own. Such big boys we have

(yes, that would be Camden with a red bump on his head now- guess we shouldn't let him jump on the bed!)
