Hooray- it's time to write about Magic Kingdom! I've been saving it for last because it's the biggest post. We'll see how much blogger lets me put in one post.
We visited Magic Kingdom twice- Friday, April 27th and again Tuesday, May 1st as our finally Disney stop. On Friday we were excited to make it into the gate for the opening ceremony for the day.

Then Mickey and Friends arrive by steam train to officially open the gates!
After entering the park we headed straight back to Fantasyland to try to nab an early ride on Dumbo. Fantasyland was under some major construction so it took a bit to find our way, when we did- Dumbo was closed for maintenance! Luckily the cast members said it should be reopening shortly. So we headed to the other side of Fantasy Land and walked onto It's a Small World ride... twice in a row! All the kids were entranced by the sights during the ride. They didn't know which way to look, which exciting piece to point out!
From there we went across the "street" to Peter Pan's Flight (too dark of a ride for pictures), grabbed fast passes for The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh and then to a shady spot for a snack.
We spent the rest of the morning in Fantasyland enjoying the Winnie the Pooh ride, the carrousel, and Finally Dumbo!
We found a nice shady spot for our picnic lunch and then headed back on the ferry to our cars. It was time to go "home" for naps! Everyone was beat!

After naps we headed back to Magic Kingdom- ate a yummy pizza supper then enjoyed a few more repeat rides. About 8:00 we headed to main street and found great seats for the light parade. The kids kept busy playing with hula hoops and snacks while we waited for the show.
Finally the lights went down and 4 very excited kiddos watched in wonder.

We were all amazed that the kids did so well staying up for the late parade- Camden and Donovan chattered the whole way home and finally settled into their beds at 10:30pm!
